Initial assessment of your child's speech, language, and communication skills includes:

  • Discussion with parents to gain background information 
  • Formal and/or informal assessment of your child
  • Feedback on assessment findings 
  • Advice on further intervention or management required
  • Written report 


Therapy sessions are based on assessment, and on the impact that any speech, language, or communication  difficulties are having on your child's overall wellbeing.

The goals of therapy with be discussed and agreed with parents at the start of a block of therapy.

A Standard Therapy session includes:

  • Individual therapy session with your child 
  • Specialist techniques selected to maximise effectiveness 
  • Feedback on progress 
  • Continuing advice    

Other Services

Assessment of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs.

Observation and liaison with your child's school or nursery.

Attendence at meetings and liaison with other professionals.

Report Writing.
